Ross Clark

Ross has 40 years’ experience in business. During this period, he has been Managing Director of two manufacturing companies, one with a turnover of £3m, the other of £11m. He has led the innovation and business support of five Innovation Centres, two in Scotland, three in London, and through other consultancy contracts provided business growth and innovation support to small and large companies in multiple sectors, throughout the UK. He has also worked extensively with public sector agencies and private sector providers.

For the role of Scale-Up Partner, Ross has the experience and ability to engage with and understand the issues and opportunities business leaders face, and then help identify the most suitable options to tackle these. He is a strategic thinker but also well practiced in implementation and action planning.

Particular interests lie in ensuring the whole business has resilience and that all parts of the jigsaw are in place to support sustainable growth, how productivity can be managed and improved, and the application of innovation across the business, including new digitalisation technologies to support manufacturing.
